James Dutton is a Melbourne based furniture designer living and working in the northern suburbs.

His work utilizes traditional carpentry while exploring relationships between a variety of different materials. He has a strong commitment to contemporary design that is crafted in a sustainable way and a passion for locally produced materials.

James studied Furniture Design at RMIT University.
